This spring, RIV Construction Group completed its eighth project for Office Depot, a leading global supplier of office products and services with over 1,500 stores worldwide. RIV’s newest venture with Office Depot was the takeover of an existing 16,667 square foot Ethan Allen store located in Annapolis, Maryland. Upgrades that RIV performed on the building exterior included installing a new roof, painting the building and updating the front facade to meet Office Depot’s branding specifications. Interior work included carpentry, painting, installing a new fire sprinkler system to bring the building up to code, as well as plumbing, HVAC and electrical work. RIV also upgraded the building site by installing a new water main to accept the fire sprinkler system, patching damages in the asphalt parking lot and striping new parking spaces.
The total project value was $554,000, and all work was finished within a 15-week schedule. Other work RIV has completed for Office Depot includes several other takeovers, new tenant fit-outs sized up to 22,000 square feet, as well as a new $1.37 million dollar store built from the ground up.
